How many people attend NDGS?
NDGS has varied in attendance, with a steadily growing number of attendees. As of 2023, slightly less than 50 people were in attendance. We are actively trying to grow.
What is the site like?
The site is the prairie and very rustic for the amenities. We do have access to a full kitchen in the Bunkhouse, though water is limited. Bathroom facilities are portapotties. Handwashing stations are available. The terrain is rough but we have mobility friendly access to our various areas of the festival. We do offer an outdoors shower tent with a water heater for those that don't want to rough it all weekend with biodegradable soap available for purchase.
What are the lodging options?
Lodging options for attendees are tent camping or RV parking (no additional cost). If you are bringing an RV, please be aware that there are no hookups.
The Bunkhouse is reserved for our special guests prior to releasing any available bunks to attendees.
Are you kid friendly?
Yes! Children must be supervised at all times by a parent or other designated adult.
We do offer child-friendly activities at our events, but these cannot run without additional volunteers.
Are you inclusive?
We celebrate our differences so long as they are rooted in love. We do not tolerate racism, transphobia, sexism, or related behaviors. We value consent culture.
Can we have a fire?
Campsite fires are not allowed.
There are designated fire pits for sacred fires with specific fire tenders.
Can I get a refund on my ticket?
NDGS understands that life happens and some circumstances are beyond your control. If transferring your ticket is not an option due to deployment or medical reasons please email ndgrandsabbat@gmail.com and we can further assist you.
Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately, no pets are allowed at North Dakota Grand Sabbat. If you have a service animal, please contact the board to register your service animal for the event.
