Town Hall Meeting 6/17/2026
Topics we covered in the meeting:
1. Introduced everyone to the new Board Members.
2. Updating everyone on what happened to NDGS in the past year and why there wasn't a festival this year. It basically came down to burnout from the previous Board and a whole mess of personal things.
3. Announced how NDGS is becoming a "club" so that it will be recognized as a 501c7 organization. Membership will be granted when you purchase tickets for the Sabbat. There are more plans currently in the works.
4. Let everyone know about the update coming to the website, which will include: ways to suggest workshops and special guests, newsletter signup, Discord and NDGS Group access, and NDGS merch.
5. Announced a new festival idea: Yearly Themes. 2027 will be Norse Pagan theme to honour North Dakota's roots. We also let everyone know we're trying to get Viking and Norse-themed VIPs to attend.
6. Let everyone know this new NDGS Board is going to be more transparent with the community and get more input from everyone, including dates for the festival.
7. Let everyone know that NDGS will be advertising in local Pagan groups and events so as to not draw negative energies.

A- We will be looking into the possibility of getting some sort of carpool or bus service.
